Use of underground facilities to store tomatoes

Summer and autumn are commonly used in underground facilities such as crypts, basements, or tunnels, where tomatoes are stored in stable underground facilities. Sterilization, pre-storage, and management must be well established. Prior to storage, the packaging container and storage chamber can be spray-disinfected with 0.5% bleach or 0.5% peracetic acid. Then select the green ripening or ripening period of 8-12 hours of pre-cooling in the cool and ventilated place and select the tomatoes and put them into the underground facility, or lay the fruit basket on the ground, or place the tomato on the vegetable rack. On top of it, put 2 to 3 layers of fruit on each shelf and check it every 3 to 5 days to remove rotten fruits or pick up fruits that are mature or unsuitable for storage. In this way, generally can be stored at room temperature for about 20 days, such as ventilation, cooling and humidity, so that the temperature is maintained at 10 ~ 12 Â°C, relative humidity of 80% to 85% can be stored for more than 30 days.
