During long-term storage and preservation of seeds, according to the principle of safe storage of seeds by drying and airtight energy, the Institute of Heterologous Use in China Academy of Agricultural Sciences has, after many years of research, proposed a storage method for seeds of J. eryngium that has good storage effect, is simple and economical, and easily mastered. The main technical keys are: (1) Strict seed quality inspection Before storage, the seeds of huang hong seedlings should be screened or sifted, the debris and broken seeds removed, and the seed germination rate determined. The seed germination rate should be more than 60% storage tolerance. Good performance, slower germination rate after storage, best storage effect. (B) reduce the moisture content of stored seeds in the early summer to grab a sunny day, sun-dried seeds 2-3 days of summer drying species avoid exposure. Dry seeds should be thin and ready to be turned over, and the spread thickness should not exceed 5cm. The drying surface is wavy to enhance the drying effect. Generally, it should be turned once every hour so that the seeds of the bottom layer can fully emit water until the moisture content of the seeds drops below 10%. (3) Cooling the seeds before cooling The seeds that have been sun-dried must be fully cooled before storage. Otherwise, the residual heat of the seeds after bagging is difficult to disperse will reduce the germination rate of the seeds. (D) Strict sealed mouth according to the sack size, made of PVC film bag lined with sacks, and then into the cooling and drying of storage seeds, tightly polyethylene bags and sacks mouth firmly, and avoid air. (5) Store the seed bags of the tightly sealed mouth at room temperature and store them in a dry and ventilated room temperature to prevent insect pests.
