In the irrigation of farmland, or under the conditions of rainfall, it is easy to be washed into the deep layer of the soil; conversely, when the climate is dry and the soil evaporation is large, it can move up with the soil capillary water and even accumulate on the soil surface.
(3) Loss of easy denitrification Under the condition of soil flooding or odious gas, nitrate ions are denitrified due to denitrification, resulting in nitrogen oxide gas or nitrogen which cannot be used by various crops. Denitrification often occurs in paddy fields.
(4) Inflammable and explosive nitrate nitrogen can decompose to generate oxygen when heated, so there is a danger of inflammability and explosion in a limited space. Care should be taken during storage.
Nitrate-nitrogen fertilizers are generally ideal for applying fertilizers in dry conditions and have a good yield increase effect. However, the effect of nitrate nitrogen in rice fields is not as good as ammonium nitrogen fertilizer. The main reason for this is the large mobility of nitrate nitrogen.
