Herbage chicken

In recent years, China’s economy has developed rapidly, and people’s living standards have rapidly increased. From the pursuit of quantity in the past to the pursuit of quality, the demand for meat, eggs, and milk has continued to increase in the dietary structure, and the quality of chicken produced by understory chickens is good and the flavor is good. Contaminated food standards that meet the requirements of modern people. Feces produced by chickens can provide high-quality organic fertilizers for the growth of trees. Chickens can also effectively control forest pests, saving on feed fees, fertilizer fees, and pest and disease control fees. The formation of a good ecological cycle of raising chickens by grass, promoting forests and grazing by forests. Now introduce the husbandry management technology as follows:

1. Site selection. Chickens should be selected for free space, good environment, less pollution, suitable for the growth of legumes suitable for eating chicken. The shed is closer to the pasture.

2. Establishment of animal husbandry. Can be used legume grass 50% to 70%, grass 50% to 30% of mixed pasture. Appropriate leguminous pastures include white clover and alfalfa, and grasses such as ryegrass. For legumes, 8 to 11 kg/ha for grasses and 5 to 8 kg/ha for grasses.

3. Feeding management. Adhere to the five. Constant density, regular quantitative feeding, regular grazing, regular weighing, and timely vaccination of various diseases.

1 stocking density. The chicken house is for the rest of the flock at night and in bad weather, usually about 15/m2. General grazing density 300 ~ 450 / ha is appropriate. The suitable grazing scale is 300-500 per group. As the chicken grows, the density decreases.

2 feeding. With regular quantitative feeding. Usually 2 to 4 weeks old, about 3 hours feeding, 8 feedings a day, 5 feedings about 4 hours, feeding 6 times a day. Give enough drinking water half an hour before and after feeding. The preliminary metabolic energy in the diet is 2800-3000 kcal/kg, the crude protein is 20%-22%, the later metabolic energy is 3000-3200 kcal/kg, and the crude protein is 18%-20%.

3 timing grazing. Grazing and free-range chickens should be divided into rotational grazing in order to rationally utilize pasture and reduce damage to grassland. Grassland will be grazing, with good climate and rainfall. When grass grows quickly, it will be grazing once in 20 days; when it is poor, rotation will take place 30 days.

4 Weigh regularly. Every Sunday afternoon, 30 to 40 birds were randomly selected for each group of chickens to be weighed to grasp the average daily weight gain and the ratio of feed to meat. The authors randomly sampled and weighed chickens raised in the base. The daily weight gain of 0.25 kg was measured and the ratio of feed to meat was 1:0.54.

5 disease vaccination. In the breeding process, the vaccination of chicken Newcastle disease, chicken pox, chicken coccidiosis, chicken leek and other vaccines must be conducted on time to prevent the occurrence of diseases and economic losses.

4. Slaughter. The system of all-in, all-out, refers to the same batch of chickens that are kept at the same time and sold and processed at the same time after bred. After a batch of chickens are slaughtered, thorough disinfection and sterilizing of chicken houses and pastures are required. This will help eliminate the cycle of infectious diseases, increase the amount of feeding, and increase economic efficiency. With the all-in, all-out system, 4 to 5 commercial chickens can be raised each year.
