The jujube tree mainly consumes the nutrients stored in the tree body from the sprouting stage to the fruit setting stage, that is, the nutrient that was produced and stored in the trunk, branches, and roots in the previous year. Therefore, if fertilization is insufficient in the previous year, it will result in inadequate nutrient reserves, weak tree vigor, and an outstanding contradiction between supply and demand of nutrients, resulting in less fruit and less fruit in the year.

2. Effect of fruit set rate in the previous year

In the previous year, too many fruit set, without fruit thinning and fruit thinning, combined with inadequate fertilization, resulted in excessive nutrient consumption. The tree failed to store enough nutrients for the next year's growth, resulting in fewer or even fruitless fruits, resulting in large and small phenomena.

3, caused by weather conditions

The flowering season of winter jujube is from early June to early July. During this period, the climate is dry and the relative humidity of the air is low. To increase the fruit setting rate of winter jujube trees, in addition to the measures taken for opening the armor, the following points should also be noted.

1. Reasonable fertilization Reapply organic fertilizer in the dormancy period of jujube trees. Because the humidity in the early evening is reduced, the evaporation is low, and the air humidity is maintained for a long time, which can provide good conditions for pollination. Flowering bee during flowering: In conditional places, when the bee is released at flowering stage, the fruit setting rate can be increased by more than 1 time, the yield can be increased by 20% to 30%, and the jujube tree nearer to the beehive can pollinate the better.

Flower spray fertilizer: spraying boron, zinc and other fertilizers can increase the fruit setting rate. Boron and zinc are indispensable trace elements for plant growth. Boron promotes the elongation of pollen tubes and facilitates fertilization.
