In recent years, the market demand for quality of Agaricus bisporus has been increasing. The large mushroom is not popular. Some mushroom farmers are unable to keep up with the market demand to produce a certain size of edible mushroom, resulting in no increase in yield. Use the following measures to control its specifications.
The commonly used strain “2796â€, which is currently used as a replacement strain, is a large-grained variety. Its main advantages are wide adaptability, strong stress resistance, large head size, and high yield, but relatively few specifications are required. Therefore, small strains can be replaced when there is an order contract.
When the soil thickness of the overburden layer is changed, the mycelium in the soil layer is thick, but it is not easy to kink. Once the knot is budded, the surrounding hyphae will concentrate on nutrient and water supply, and it is bound to grow into a big head fruit body. Generally normal soil thickness 3 ~ 5 cm, adjusted to 2 cm thick cover soil, hyphae easily knot bud, bud formation survival competition, difficult to produce a big mushroom.
Appropriately raise the temperature of growth of Agaricus bisporus to 15～20°C. Appropriately increasing the temperature of the greenhouse can effectively increase the number of buds and make the fruit bodies mostly in the middle and lower levels.
