When doing the tensile test, the fracture of the sample is always broken on both sides. The cause of this phenomenon is to first consider whether the main part of the electronic tension machine is installed vertically. If this reason is excluded, the following three aspects are excluded. :
1. If the jaw clamp is positive, the specimen should be clamped symmetrically as required.
2. The quality of the jaws of the electronic tension machine is not good. In addition to affecting the different cores of the jaws, the sample is slipped during the test, making the yield point difficult to identify. In this case, the jaws should be replaced.
3. The adjustment of the lifting guide wheel is not correct, so that the upper and lower jaws are not concentric. With a test rod, the upper and lower jaws are tensioned and measured using a dial gauge until the adjustment is acceptable.
Common fault 2: The position of the pendulum of the electronic tension machine is not normal, and the pendulum rod is not aligned with the vertical mark.
1. The viscosity of the oil is too large or the oil is too dirty. Remedy: Replace the oil with the right viscosity.
2. The force of the piston is rotated or not rotated. Remedy: Check if the electronic tension machine is level and eliminate the failure of the force measuring piston.
3. There is unstable friction. Remedy: Clean the pendulum shaft bearing, the toothed rod, the pointer, the wire wheel, adjust the level of the electronic tension machine, and reduce the unstable friction.
Common fault three: The passive needle does not stop at any position well and does not coincide with the main needle.
The method of removal is to remove the dial glass, adjust the passive needle compression spring screw, and adjust the pointer to coincide with the main needle.
Common fault four: When loading, the oil system is seriously leaking or the tubing is broken.
First, check if the joints of the oil system are tightened. If it is necessary to replace the gasket, replace it in time. If the tubing is broken, it is necessary to replace the tubing with higher strength. In addition, observe the oil delivery valve and whether the relief valve piston is dead or reversed.
Common fault five: After the specimen breaks, the pendulum quickly falls back, causing impact.
The main reason is that the buffer is out of order. In addition to the conventional adjustment, it should also be considered whether the oil is too thin or too dirty.

Carbomer

Carbomer is an acrylic resin obtained by cross-linking pentaerythritol with acrylic acid. It is a very important rheological regulator. After neutralization, carbomer is an excellent gel matrix, which has important applications such as thickening suspension. According to the dry product calculation, including carboxylic acid group (-cooh) should be 56.0 % ~ 68.0%.


Common carbopol series include: Carbopol 940, 941, 934, 1342, 980, ETD 2020, AQUA sf-1, Ultrez 21, Ultrez 20, etc.
