Swedish scientists have now discovered a new transmission channel in plant cells that allows the plant to produce and store more antibodies. The newly discovered transmission channel is located between the diaphragm system (endoplasmic reticulum), where carbohydrate tissue forms and enters proteins and chloroplasts. This organ is also where photosynthesis occurs. Professor Samuelson of the Umeå Plant Science Center in Sweden said that after discovering new transmission channels, they believe that antibodies can be produced in the endoplasmic reticulum and sent to chloroplasts for storage until the plants mature. He also said that they also believe that a large amount of antibodies can be stored in the chloroplast, so that the antibody production can be greatly improved, and the chloroplast can also make the antibody pure.
