The original adipose tissue on the sulcus, subcutaneous and mesentery became gel-like infiltration. The blood is thin and pale, coagulation is slow, subcutaneous edema is sometimes present, and fluid accumulates in the abdominal cavity, chest cavity, and pericardial sac.

Prevention and control According to the duck's different ages and production characteristics, the demand for protein is given to the full price diet to ensure the supply of essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. The standard content of crude protein in duck diets was: 0-2 weeks old 20%, 2-6 weeks old 17%, 6-8 weeks old 15%, and duck 17.5%. The animal protein should account for 3% to 10% of the diet, and the proportion of plant protein in the diet can reach 15% to 25%. When formulating feeds, in addition to paying attention to the quantity and quality of protein, attention should also be paid to animal protein (such as fish meal, meat and bone meal, silkworm cocoon powder, feather meal, lotus root, lotus root, etc.) and plant protein (such as peanut cake, bean cake, rice bran, The proper mix of bran and barley flour. The types of plant protein feeds are best diversified so that they can complement each other with the deficiency and type of essential amino acids.

Once this disease occurs, protein or essential amino acids should be added immediately, especially lysine and methionine. Generally, good results can be obtained. If supplements are not given for too long, the effect is not good.
