The release of this standard marks that Pingyi County canning industry has entered a new stage of development. The implementation of this standard will regulate the production behavior of canned enterprises in Pingyi County, strengthen the self-discipline of the canned industry, improve the quality of canned products, ensure food safety, and create Regional brands play a positive role in promoting.
Pingyi County has 85 canned fruit and vegetable processing enterprises (including 7 export enterprises), all of which have obtained food production licenses, can process 400 million kilograms of fruits and vegetables annually, and can produce 400,000 tons of cans per year, accounting for total canned production in Shandong Province. 90% of the volume, accounting for 20% of the total canned food production in the country.
